Of course, this is not the only thing to have
happened during the past year. In July we appointed a community worker (Danie) to
work with the children, young people and their families in our area. Since arriving
Danie has organised and run a Holiday Club (with a pirates theme - see photo (left)),
organized a Pizza night, started a "Holiday Club" style worship (called JAM) on
a Sunday morning and organised a Christmas party as well as many other exciting activites.
Planned for the future is a Youth Club (to be run fortnightly) and there is going
to be a JAM Workshops day in January. For more information on any of these events
please contact us by e-mailing us at elburton@plymouth-methodist.org.uk.
Thanks. |
